Hello! My name is Aysha Jogi, the new Peer Mentor and Training Coordinator. I am really looking forward to working here and ensuring that Peer Mentoring is always improving. I intend to continue to make this fun, engaging and creative. I look forward to working with the university to make Peer Mentoring a brilliant scheme so all students can have an enjoyable time at here in Leicester.
My background is in education and I studied in Leicester throughout my education, which means I know the ins and outs of city pretty well. After completing my degree, I really wanted to explore teaching and learning. This role will enable me to utilise my skills in these areas and really get to know the union and university and how they work. I worked in a Further Education setting before joining the Students’ Union. I am excited to work with students and passionate about contributing to a fun and engaging time whilst they are at University
I look forward to meeting current and aspiring mentors.
If you have any questions about the scheme then please don’t hesitate to get in touch on firstname.lastname@example.org or drop into to the SU Office to have a chat.
